Come on you guys, she is FLAW FREE. I mean just her face and the lighting and the slight shininess and her expression, it's all just perfect. My only fault with this shot is the fly-aways in her hair, I feel like this a clean headshot like this fly-aways don't really have a place, but other than that I think that the hair makes a nice frame for her face.

Again, just SO beautiful. Her expression is so endearing, I think that while the other looks more like a model portfolio shot, this one is more of an actors portfolio shot. I really love the quality to the light on her face and the background, it reminds me of film in its softness

If I were to fault this, again I'd probably say the hair is the issue and also her left shoulder is a bit bright and distracting

I don't love this one. I probably would if it were by itself (I appreciate the attitude and the structure to her face is really nice) but it just can't compare to the others. The others hit the nail on the head so precisely for their genre but I don't know how she could use this shot.

Again, hair is an issue. Clothes -now that we can see them- have become an issue. The evenness of the skin on her body is a bit of an issue... I mean, it's definitely not a bad shot, it's just not particularly good :/

set thoughts

So basically the intent was to give her some black and white headshots and things for me to use in my portfolio to convince actors to hire me and... success!! Kind of... I've realised lately that when promoting myself I need to use colour shots on the promotional flyers and I need to have sets that include full-body shots also so I can't really use these. But regardless, I totally nailed my objective and I learnt crucial information in the process so I consider this a win!
